AAAS Science & Policy Fellowship

This morning I was officially accepted as a AAAS Energy, Environment, Agriculture and Natural Resources (EEANR) Fellowship finalist (after my semifinalist interview in DC last week), which means I'll probably be working in DC starting in September as a science expert in the Executive Branch. I am excited but nervous (and sad that I might be leaving Boston). I still have one interview next month at the University of Vermont for a tenure-track position in their Environment school, so if that offer is sweet enough I may still change my mind, but I think DC is looking fairly likely at this point...

Congrats! And as sad as it will be that you might not be in Boston, DC isn't too far and James and I are there frequently to visit family anyway! And James has applied for jobs there too, so we might end up there as well.
