Microsoft programs are not normally my favorites, but I have to say that I really love the Pivot Table functionality in Excel. Once we set up our software to spit out giant data sets in the right format, it becomes so easy to make charts and tables and then shift and modify them at will... it is practically magic!

Er. That's all. Well, and another several thousand words off to my committee. And now, home!

No, I skipped AGU in order to work on thesis. I haven't been to a real conference since January, mostly on that theory. (I thought I'd finish a lot earlier). Next year I plan to include many more conferences and fun travel in my life.

But, yeah, pivot tables rock.
