marcusmarcusrcI am organizing a group to go see The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged) on Boston Common this coming Saturday at 2 pm (weather permitting). Feel free to show up, bring blankets, snacks, beverages, or just yourselves, and we can hang out and laugh at the attempt to cover 38 plays in 90 minutes (with bonus socializing before and afterwards)

Originally written and performed by The Reduced Shakespeare Company in its more-or-less present form in 1987, "The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr (abridged)" has since enjoyed sold-out performances and rave
reviews worldwide.
This latest offering from Threadbare Productions is performed in its entirety by Boston-area actors Emma Goodman, Jonathan Wolfe, and Bob Mussett, with the assistance of Sarah McDougal as Roller-Skating Prop
Girl. Throughout the month of August, they will be traveling to Boston-area parks to showcase their intense, personal knowledge of Shakespeare in this riotous and irreverent take on the Bard's work.
You can catch a performance at the Boston Common's Bandstand/Gazebo every Saturday and Sunday for the rest of August. Shows begin at 2pm and 5pm and last approximately 1 hour 45 minutes, which includes a
short intermission. Performances are free and open to the public, however donations are accepted and encouraged ($10 suggested donation).
