One Month of Boston Left
Aug. 1st, 2008 02:51 pmOne month from today I head down to DC to move into my new apartment (just sent my lease paperwork off today). I'll be living two blocks from the Cleveland Park metro stop, for those who know the area, and working as a AAAS fellow in the Climate Division of the EPA (well, after two weeks of orientation, first).
Hypothetically I'll want to see people over the next month, and maybe even having a going away party (or perhaps a going away picnic in the park if the weather is nice - maybe Sunday August 24th?). However, fair warning that travel, weddings, work, girlfriend, and family issues have swallowed most of my life, so I don't know if I will actually succeed in seeing many people, and I apologize if I miss you. I haven't even been dancing (squares _or_ contra) in almost two months so I will also try to remedy that. I do plan to visit Boston fairly frequently, though, so it isn't like I'll be disappearing totally (not like if I'd taken the New Zealand offer, for example). And people are welcome to come visit me in DC, which isn't very far away! Plus, free Museums and Zoos and Stuff!
