Arisia

Despite having a long and fulfilling relationship with science fiction and fantasy, of book, games, movie, and TV forms, I have never been to a science fiction convention. I had planned to remedy that this year by going to Arisia, which is, after all, just around the corner. Sadly, between not having finished my thesis, having my mom in town, having a friend visiting, and wanting to go to bcmfest, I realize that I am unlikely to be able to make it to any worthwhile chunk of convention.
