As usual for 1st Friday of the month, I'm going to

It's almost tax-time and that means grumbly people hunched over receipts. Anyone can feel a little dependent on laughs on account of that. You're not exempt. But before you burden yourself to the point of no return, don't write off your Friday night! Give yourself some credit and schedule a time to do something of interest! Form 1040 resolutions if you have to, but see improv comedy. It's E-Z and won't take a big bite out of your farm income (or loss). It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to make this deduction: File singly or jointly into line to see Kitsch in Sync--what a capital idea!

ALSO!!!

Don't miss April's fantastic opening act:
Waiting for Ennis Cotter (link below)
What will two desperate women do for one man?
With Improv Asylum alums Cathleen Carr, Kiley Fitzgerald,
and Tim Paul plus accordionist Peter Hanlon!

PLUS!!

More sketch comedy!

Friday, April 7th, 8PM
The Puppet Showplace Theatre
32 Station St.
Brookline Village (steps from the Green D Line)
$8 adults/$5 students
Or SAVE MONEY with a KIS Membership: http://www.kitschinsync.org/membership.html
Snacks and drinks will be available

This may be the 2nd-to-last time I'm going, as my friend in the troupe is headed to Stanford in June...

Also, on further Lear sightings: opened Coraline the other night (the book, not the person), and the first page I saw had ' "Sharper than a serpent's tooth," she said, "is a daughter's ingratitude". ' I guess the takeaway message here is that Shakespeare is everywhere.

The fact that you're going to stop going once your friend is no longer in it is not actually a strong recommendation for those of us who don't know your friend. :-)

I think the takeaway message here is that Shakespeare is stalking you, personally.
