West African Gold

Whereas: I have not been to an art museum for a while

and Whereas: A relative of mine helped curate the West African Gold exhibit at the MFA

and Whereas: The MFA is cool

Let it be resolved that I will be going to see said exhibit this Saturday, the 25th of February 2006, at 3 pm. All and sundry are welcome to meet me in the exhibit at the appointed hour. Probably followed by wandering about to other exhibits (I often like to drop in on my distant ancestors in the Egyptian wing for a few minutes whenever I'm at the MFA), and possibly a dinner trip or other socialization afterwards if anyone else actually shows up and wants to join me. (FYI, the museum closes at 4:45 so that puts an upper bound on time spent there)

Gosh, we'll be at the MFA earlier in the day hanging out with relatives, so depending how the timing works out, we might join up with your mission when ours finishes... :)
