Marcus Update

Still not King (aka, no defense date yet). However, I finished everything that my committee asked me to do in the last meeting (rewriting conclusions, doing some modeling and writing it up, and revising chapter 3 to be more organized and forceful and consistent with conclusions), so I have hope that I will get a date organized soon. Still have 2 more chapters to edit, and then lots of ugly formatting and reference checking etc. But I have been making continual if slow progress, so that is a good thing.
Life Progress:
Currently very happy. Going back to Utah tonight, looking forward to skiing and holiday parties and snow and mountains and parents. And maybe even a contra dance. Though I am bringing work with me, so it isn't total vacation. I'll be back before the New Year.
I hope everyone has a lovely holiday season, and I look forward to spending more time with friends once my thesis is done!
