Also, for those few who might have been curious after my last post, I asked one of my friendly neighborhood Asante experts and he kindly told me that most of these proverbs are about the "adowa" or dwarf antelope, while the word he knew for anthill was "siw". So they don't sound alike. He did not offer an alternate explanation for the meaning behind the proverb.
