Spring is Sprung, the Potluck's Here
Apr. 26th, 2005 10:39 pmFirst post! Anyway, I'm sure I forgot people in my emailed picnic announcement, so this is an attempt to maybe catch one or two people I might have forgotten otherwise.
So, picnic announcement:
In honor of Spring and (hopefully) Nice Weather, I am announcing a potluck picnic to be held at Nathan Tufts Park (aka Powerhouse Park) on Sunday May 8th (that is a week from this Sunday) from about 11am to about 4pm. It is located just up College Ave north from the Davis T station. You, your friends, SOs, roommates, colleagues, and random people you met on the T on the way over are invited. No RSVP's are necessary, since this email is the sum total of the organization I plan to do for this event. In the case of nasty weather, no refunds or alternate plans will be provided.
Bring food and drinks (encouraged but by no means required), bring frisbees, bring picnic blankets, bring games that are outdoor-acceptable, bring yourselves, and it should be fun!
-Marcus
This invite bcc'ed to the following lists, plus some random individuals: tech-squares-social, et-boston, tmp-tpp, unseen, writerscabal, and the student half of jp-students. Apologies to any email addresses inadvertently omitted, and to those on the mailing list who live south of the Charles River. No animals were harmed in the making of this email.
Spring is Sprung,
The Grass is 'Riz
I wonder where the Boidies Is?
The Boidies on the Wing.
But that's Absoid!
The Wing is on the Boid!
